The secret of high yield is simple. The roots of crops should be wide and deep, Frequent use of heavy machinery in the fields creates a compacted layer, where the roots cannot reach deep, and the yield is reduced.
 
Even if difficult, I make ridges with light machines and I make that ridge to last a lifetime. I will continue to use a ridge with no-till. The residue of the crop enters the field as it is, and the compost is put into the surface layer. No-till makes the soil better.
