Winter cabbage in Jindo are planted around Sep 20 and harvested next Jan or Feb. Mr. Seol applies ample amount of JMS around three times before planting his cabbages. He keeps giving JMS to the soil and leaves after having transplanted them. He said he had serious problem with clubroot but it was fixed after using this method. 
  He says "It's easy and cheap. It works wonders. I tell people to do it, but they don't break the habit of purchasing farm inputs."
