Seong-hyeong Lee from Suncheon. Crops: Pepper, Garlic, Onion. Area: ≈ 1.63 acres. 14 years in organic farming.

The case of Mr. Seong-hyeong Lee demonstrates that the JADAM method is a farming system with proven field efficacy. Despite initial setbacks, Mr. Lee built his technical expertise by consistently practicing JADAM Wetting Agent (JWA), JADAM Sulfur (JS), and culturing JADAM Microorganism Solution (JMS). His stable know-how is highlighted by 15 years without a single failure in JMS cultivation. Recently, he has significantly increased productivity while reducing labor and costs by using JADAM Microbial Pesticide (JMP), which was invented by JADAM. As a result, his organic produce is consistently selling out even at premium prices.

Mr. Lee, a resident of Suncheon, returned to his hometown to take over his parents' farm 18 years ago. Committed to practicing organic farming from the very beginning, he has attended JADAM Lectures 6 times in various locations including Hadong, Daejeon, and Gongju.

His first year in agriculture was a devastating failure. After just one harvest, his peppers were ploughed under due to anthracnose, and his cabbage crops suffered the same fate because of clubroot before he could even harvest them once. While he briefly considered giving up on KNF, he regained his resolve. By mastering the use of JWA, JS, and making JADAM Herbal Solution (JHS) with ginkgo nuts, Korean pasque flower, and Jerusalem artichoke, he refined his technical skills and successfully obtained organic certification.

Since JMP was invented last year, he says farming has never been easier. Because he can produce it in bulk and use it as if it were free, the burden of management has vanished. Having practiced making JMS for 15 years, he achieved vigorous microbial activity without any issues, never once failing a cultivation. The entire yield from his 1.63-acre farm is sold at Suncheon Local Food markets. His venture is highly successful, as his products sell out despite being priced significantly higher than conventional produce.

FAQ:
Q: How did JMP and self-culturing technology allow farms to simultaneously achieve cost reduction and production stability?
A: By making large quantities at once for repeated use, pesticide costs were virtually eliminated. Additionally, stable JMS cultivation ensured high productivity by providing a robust defense against diseases.
