In a situation where unpredictable weather and sudden pest outbreaks are rampant every year due to climate change, Mr. Wang-seon Yoo and Mrs. Kyung-sook Lee show a farming site where farmers become the masters of their own pest control. Rather than relying on expensive commercial eco-friendly materials, they focus on JADAM Microbial Pesticide (JMP) to not only reduce production costs but also enhance the self-sustaining power of the soil.
They used to live in Gyeonggi-do, but through connections with Mrs. Lee's acquaintances, they moved to Hongcheon, Gangwon-do to farm. When they previously had a small vegetable garden, they hated the smell of pesticides so much that they decided to do organic farming if they ever became farmers. While looking for various eco-friendly farming methods, they were impressed by Dr. Youngsang Cho's YouTube videos on no-till farming, so they attended JADAM Lectures together.
However, they were still unsure if it was right for them, so they initially farmed using commercial eco-friendly materials. As the weather got hotter, many diseases occurred, but the commercial eco-friendly materials were only expensive and ineffective. This led them to recall the JADAM Organic Farming materials they had learned before. They made and used JADAM Sulfur (JS) and JADAM Wetting Agent (JWA). Since JMP was invented, they have mainly been using JMP for their farming.
Since they could not apply JADAM pest control throughout the entire growing season last year, they plan to properly practice it starting from the seedling stage this year.
