Mr. Youngchun Oh has seven frost prevention fans. It has sensor that activates the fans automatically at -3C. One fan covers about 1/4 ac. It rotates 360 degrees and blows wind in a wave. It's particularly good for hilly or caved-in landscape.
  Heave frost sets in on early Nov. That can do serious damage to the persimmons immediately before harvest. Mr. Oh is very happy with the fans; having had no frost damage for the last seven years.
