Younghyeon Jo, Jangheung, Jeonnam, 51 Korean cows, 2.5 acres, 6 years of farming

Mr. Jo chose Jangheung because of cows. It was the best region in Korea for growing ryegrass which is a great cow feed. It's also close to Gwangyang port, making it easy to buy imported alfalfa at a low price.

Mr. Jo keeps it simple. The two most important things in growing cows are: feed and housing. If you achieve the two, the rest follows.

The six counties of Jangheung, Youngam, Haenam, Gangjin, Boseong, Goheung, is the best in Korea for growing cows. It can be the cluster for Korean traditional cow farming. Mr. Jo has hope of creating hope for the future of traditional Korean cow industry.
