5 feet rain wash away soil nutrients put down in fall?

Hi Jadam, I get 5 feet rain from Fall through spring; if I put down nutrients like jlf and compost material or finish compost will the rain wash/leech away soil nutrients like nitrogen? If so, any recommendations? Thanks
