Soft Water PH

Hello,

I have followed your instructions on how to make soft water using the cation exchange resin. Everything was done per the instructions, now i just want to test whether my water is actually soft. We tested it using a PH water tester, and the results came out to be 7PH. Is this considered a soft water in your definition?
