Thrips control - INEFFECTIVE

My name is Wali. I own a chilli farm in Malaysia. Currently i am having trouble controlling thrips in my farm. I tried using your jadam solution formula in a 20 Liter water tank:
- 600ml jwa
- 50g NaOH
- 40g clay powder
I mixed all the ingredients in 10 liter soft water first then added more soft water to make it reach 20 liter. Is this the correct way of mixing the ingredients or do I have to mix NaOH and clay powder separately first before mixing it together with JWA in the 20 liter water tank?
Because after spraying 3x in 3 days, i notice the thrips are still alive and still very active. I need your advice on this.
