First time making JLF - Forgot leaf mold

Hello, three months ago, I started my first batch of JLF. I filled a 120 liter barel with weeds, mostly Canadian thistle, topped it off with well water, and put the lid on. Unfortunately, I forgot to add leaf mold. How can I tell if the batch is ruined or whether it is still worth using. I suppose it is too late to add the leaf mold now. Should I dump it out and start over? Thank you for any advice. I won't make this mistake again.
