JWA didn’t work well for my plants

I’m living in Houston Texas at the moment.
Thank you so much for all you do for the community. I finished making the JWA wet solution. I wanted to test it before using it in the entire garden. What I found out was it burned/coded the leaves and I think suffocated them. Because the way they curled in.
I followed the measurement for the 10L
And here’s the pictures of two plants.
I have the book JADAM organic pest and disease control and you’re JADAM organic farming. I see you have a book on edible wild herbs. Definitely your next purchase.
The leaf feels like there’s too much oil. Because they’re slimy and felt like coding.

Because of my scale I had to use fluid ounces as a conversion.
Ingredients. For 10L in order.
KOH 0.32 kg. / 11.36 oz
Initial water 0.25 L / 8.45 Fl oz
Canola oil 1.8 L / 60.87 Fl oz
