Potassium JLF

Good day,
In page 200 in JADAM's book, it is about making potassium JLF, there said "K-mag", is it factory made fertilizer? or is it some kind of plant? I see from the picture it's looks like plants, can anyone tell me what kind of plant is it?
And in this page also mention "potassium sulfate", is it K₂SO₄? is it classified as "organic"?
Really need more explanation to make this potassium JLF.
