Gingko JHS dried nuts instead of fresh?

But I can Not find anywhere around me that has gingko trees, and if it is around it’s usually in cities and a non-seed/fruit bearing tree.
So I bought these instead, dried (really they are fresh and soft and kept in the refrigerator) gingko nuts at a local Asian store.
Will this still work and be effective like regular gingko? I was going to use the dried pasque root ratio instead of fresh ratios. Thanks again!
