After working in the IT industry, Mr. Park returned to his hometown to live with his elderly parents. While contemplating eco-friendly agriculture, he entered the world of organic farming after listening to lectures by Dr. Youngsang Cho online. He continued studying through online lectures, and after attending official JADAM lectures when JMP was announced, he stopped using JADAM Wetting Agent (JWA) and JADAM Herbal Solution (JHS) made with ginkgo berries, switching exclusively to JMP. Because JMP carries no risk of chemical damage, spraying it two days in a row causes no issues. Through consistent and worry-free applications, pest populations naturally decreased until pests were no longer visible.
In the early stages of culturing JADAM Microorganism Solution (JMS), Mr. Park experienced several failures when using potatoes instead of potato starch. The cause of failure was boiling large batches of potatoes, dividing them into portions, storing them in the freezer, and thawing them prior to use. He also tried adding compost to increase foam production, but found no significant difference. Following JADAM instructions by keeping to the basic principles yields successful culturing, so he adds no extra ingredients, and from June onwards, culturing proceeds smoothly without heating.
For JMS culturing, he uses two 500 L tanks, one for fertigation and the other for JMP preparation. He reuses the leftover microbial sediment only once, washing the tanks completely for the third culturing cycle. Basic culturing is performed with 500 L of water, 500 g of leaf mold soil, 500 g of sea salt, and 500 g of potato starch. The solution reaches readiness after 48 hours without heating.
Regarding the primary advantage of JMP, Mr. Park noted that it can be applied repeatedly whenever necessary without fear of chemical damage, and consistent applications produced visible reductions in pest populations right in the field.
