Mr. Youngchun Oh has a warehouse with cold room, freezer, and sorting machine. There, he does fruit processing himself. He dries, half-dries, extracts juice, or ferments the persimmons into vinegar. He sells to the school, Hanaro Mart, and Local Food. None of his fruits are wasted.
Because making vinegar is not easy to get a permit and the facility investment is not cheap, Mr. Oh has another company doing the processing for him. When he first dried the fruits 5 years ago, villagers said he was crazy. Now, 10 households follow his model.
