JS - Trace Minerals

Hi!
From my understanding of JS, sea salt, phyllite powder and red clay powder are optional, as JS is complete without them. They are added to make the end solution clear and becomes nutrient for the crop. It also increases sweetness and better coloring after they are sprayed.

I'm wondering if this is because of the trace minerals from the clay and phyllite?
For someone who has a very sandy soil, what do you think about using these trace mineral fertilizers as substitute for phyllite and red clay powder?

1. Volcanic Rock Dust for the Silica

2. Water soluble trace elements powder (for a variety of trace elements)

3. dolomite lime powder (Calcium carbonate and Magnesium Carbonate)

Also what is the role of the sea salt (sodium chloride) in JS and is it optional?

Thank you

The use of sea salt and phyllite powder helps improve sugar content and color.
I think number 1 would be good.
I think it's better to use something that is generated in nature.
