When making JMP, the only option I have is to do the fermentation at ambient temperature. I was wondering if there is an indicator other than foam coverage to determine the right time to transfer the broth and add decyl.
What is the typical pH of your broth when you transfer it and mix it with Decyl?
Is it OK to ferment the broth until the nutrients are used up?

The pH is about 6.5. If you add KOH, it goes up to 10.
