Hello to everyone, I have a question abot JWA, what its better to use, soybean oil or palm oil ?. Also I can get both these oils either brand new or used from a local restaurant, the used oil its very dark and JWA becomes dark or a bit cloudy with used oil, what is best to use?
The reason soybean oil is not used in the JWA manufacturing process is because its pest control effect is not as good as canola oil. I have no experience testing JWA made from palm oil, but I think palm oil is better than soybean oil. When using palm oil, it is recommended to reduce the amount of caustic by about 15%.
