Ive just made and applied a JMS to my gardens and trees and super excited for the results!
That being said, I want to follow the advice in the book and "apply 4 times before planting, ideally 4 days apart" if I recall correctly.
With the temperatures I have in my area, JMS is taking more like 6-7 days to get to proper activity levels for a 4 gallon sweet potato batch.
- I was wondering if I could add about 3 more gallons of soft water, sea salt, and another steamed potato to the remainder of my JMS that I have basically just finished or do i need to start a new one?
- If I did add to my current almost used up JMS, would the activity be faster?
- Would it be as diverse? I feel like lacto bacillus bacteria takes over as it typically smells very cheesy toward the end.
We recommend applying JMS 4 times before planting and 3-4 times a month thereafter. If used too often, it can hinder the growth of crops. We recommend starting over again.
