Is it necessary all the formula for disease and peat control have to dilute with soft water?

I did mixed JWA 300ml JS +20ml+Fine Soil+30ml+ JHS( bracken fern)+300ml and Sodium Hydroxide 25g over 10liter of spring water and unfortunately it burned all of my vegetable plants (green house).

I tried to reduce sodium hydroxide to 10g /10Liter but the caterpillar and the caterpillar and white aphid on freach bean is still cannot die.

I made JWA and JS using distilled water.

Will be much appreciated if you can advise accordingly?

I m from India down south. I wish to cultivate Pepper CHILLIES as mono crop method. Do you have any suggestion on seed veriety etc Do you have any better seed veriety in your Nation.  

Other natural oils can also be used. When using coconut oil, reduce the amount of KOH by about 20%. There is no alternative to KOH.
