In the last couple of years my city has been overrun with spotted lantern flys. At first i started capturing them &
Trying to see what plants they DONT like just as they do in the book. I haven't gone too far into this research but
Ive tried many things including just JWA mixed with FPJs of different herbs and such(hot pepper FPJ) . My neighbors have both grape vines and apple trees and the branches are covered some nights.
Does anyone know a plant or herb they dont like?
Even concentrated JWA doesnt kill them unless you spray them with a stream and hit them multiple times.
There is little information about them online hoping here someone will know!
In Korea, this Spotted lantern fly also causes a lot of damage. In my experience, ginkgo biloba boiled water should be added to control this pest. I recommend number 10 at https://youtu.be/GobG1IJOLyo. If you continue to use this, you can overcome Spotted lantern fly.
