Substitute for jlf

Just getting started with jadam. Don't have JLF yet. is there an organic substitute I can use until I get some made. Thanks

    Commercially available compost can also be soaked in water.
    Put about 1/5 of the compost in a container, fill it with water, and use the top water while stirring.
