are there any KNF or JADAM treatments that improve the moisture-holding capacity of the soil? I have a sandy loam soil and even with irrigation it dries out very quickly, especially in early spring with minimal plant cover, and drying winds
I try to keep some mulch on the soil, but it blows around and makes cultivating rows difficult.
The conventional soil science test tells me I can't improve cation exchange capacity without importing clay, and I'm not going to do that.
I also know heard there are glomalin substances that make soil particles aggregate to hold more water.
Are there any KNF or JADAM treatments that can help me store more water in my sandy soil?
