I have heard through Elaine Ingham's work with compost tea that some impeller pumps damage many of the beneficial microbes in compost tea, while diaphragm pumps do not damage the microbes. What pump type do you use for JMS application? Thank you.
JMS is cultured without air input. We believe this method is advantageous for cultivating more soil-beneficial microorganisms. This is because the soil is anaerobic if it goes below 1.5 cm.
The input of air definitely destroys the nutrients in the compost car. This is nutritionally very basic.
