I understand and calculated each tree requires 750g of sea salt with 25-30L of water mixture to be applied under the tree canopy but my biggest concern is water doesnt come by easily as my farm (50 acres) do not have access of river & underground water source. The closest water pond are 5-6km away from my farm and my farm terrain are mostly slopes not suitable to do ponds. Transporting water will be a heavy cost.
Is it possible for me to sprinkler the sea salt like normal fertilizer or i need to reduce the amount by half 300g-350g of sea salt and sprinkler under the tree canopy ?
You can also sprinkle the sea salt directly into the soil. In Korea, 20 kg of salt per 1/4 acre is sprinkled in 3 divided portions in the orchard. It is also adjusted according to the rainfall. thank you.
