Dear Community,
in the marvelous book it´s written on Page 161:
"For example, if you are irrigating ¼ ac (0.1 ha) with a ×100 dilution solution, the water will be 3,000 L (793 gal), add 30 L (7.9 gal) of liquid fertilizer and/or JMS (30 L or 7.9 gal being the combined volume)."
So my question is, when mixing JMS and JLF at a x100 dilution for 1/4 ac (0.1h), using 3000 L of NMW, do i then have to use
30 L JMS + 30 L JLF + 3000 L NMW = 3060 L Result
or
15 L JMS + 15 L JLF + 3000 L NMW = 3030 L Result
or
30 L JMS + 30 L JLF + 2940 L NMW = 3000L Result
or
15 L JMS + 15 JLF + 2970 L NMW 3000 L Result
I´m trying to get my head around the definition of "combined volume".
Because it´s not my mothertongue, I feel that i do not fully understand what this shall mean in the end.
Because for foliar application for example you have to add up (20 L JMS + 480 L of water + 3L JWA)
And could i also use, for example:
30 L JLF (=x100 dulituion) + 300 L JMS (=x10 dilution)+ NMW =3000ish L for 0.1h
Many thanks and keep up this amazing work you are doing. All the best and hope everyone is doing fine
