Substitute of Canola Oil Using Palm Oil in Making JWA

Hi.

I live in Malaysia. A country with tropical climate. My country is blessed with a lot of oil palm. We produce a lot of palm oil.

I just read about making JWA using canola oil. In Malaysia, price of canola oil is twice than palm oil.

I just want to know whether I can substitute the canola oil with palm oil as alternative?

      Is Conola oil Or palm oil here that used for frying?

        Hello,

        You can use Palm oil instead of Canola oil.
        When you make JWA with Palm oil, you need to reduce 15 % of potassium hydroxide.
