Autumn Leaves in Base Fertilizer

I can easily obtain large amounts of fallen autumn leaves.

In your opinion what is the best way to utilize them in base fertilization for annual crops?

    The autumn leaves are sown in the soil 3 months before planting and soaked with JADAM microorganisms. If the amount of autumn leaves is large, light tillage can further promote decomposition.

      I have tested a couple years and this is my plan this year:

      -Shred leaves
      -Mix shredded leaves with grass clippings and crop residue
      -Till mixture into top 2 inches of soil in autumn
      -add JMS

      Is there a better way in your opinion?
