JWA didn’t work well for my plants

Aloha, I hope you’re doing well. My name is Grant Chapman from Honolulu Hawaii.
I’m living in Houston Texas at the moment.

Thank you so much for all you do for the community. I finished making the JWA wet solution. I wanted to test it before using it in the entire garden. What I found out was it burned/coded the leaves and I think suffocated them. Because the way they curled in.

I followed the measurement for the 10L
And here’s the pictures of two plants.

I have the book JADAM organic pest and disease control and you’re JADAM organic farming. I see you have a book on edible wild herbs. Definitely your next purchase.

The leaf feels like there’s too much oil. Because they’re slimy and felt like coding.

Because of my scale I had to use fluid ounces as a conversion.

Ingredients. For 10L in order.
KOH 0.32 kg. / 11.36 oz
Initial water 0.25 L / 8.45 Fl oz
Canola oil 1.8 L / 60.87 Fl oz

    Nice to meet you I also live in Houston, what is your soil structure, or compost? Did you use cover crop? How did you prep the soil before planting, are you using any fertilizers, or foliar sprays?

      The damage you see in the pictures are not from aphids. The plants are 100% healthy I sprayed them with JWA and the next day this is what they look like.

      When I touch the leaves they felt really thick and soapy. I’m thinking the solution is too thick. I’m not sure the cars that’s why I’m asking? Would you recommend watering down the solution?

        Nice to meet you. aloha
        Based on 10L, JWA can be used from 20ml to 300ml. At this rate, no disturbance can occur in any crop.
        Aphids seem to have suffered a lot of damage from the distorted leaves.

        JWA does not block the pores on the leaves.
        So the crop is not choked by JWA.
        Could there be another cause?
