Hello,
When I prepare JMS, the temperature of it during the summer is quite high (around 40 degrees Celsius or more). I thin it down (1:10) with water of lower temperature of at least 15 degrees Celsius. Is this temperature difference harmful for the microbes? Is there a limit of how low the temperature can be without affecting the microbes (eg. water from well)?
If the temperature drops below 18 degrees Celsius, microbial culture does not work well. First, try culturing at room temperature, and if it doesn't work out, try lowering the temperature.
