Water Softening Resin

Can you point me in the direction of the specs for the water softening resin?
In AUstralia, it's hard to find at the moment..
I can get 'demineralisation' resin for $14/kg 
but we just need softening resin, yes?

      You need to purchase a cation exchange resin.
