rock dust and fine soil question

Hello,

i took blue metal dust/crusher dust, run it through a sieve to harvest the dust, did same with store bought garden soil, can i just use them as they are now while making JS or do i need to do something before adding them to the recipe?

    When manufacturing JS, you can use Rock Dust or Fine Soil. If you don't have it, you can make it without putting it in.
