Sea Water?
2022-06-25 18:05:36 | read: 2960

Which type of water are you referring to as far as, Ocean, Lake, swamp, river, or pond water? The reason I asked this is because I was using water from ponds and lakes, which had a low salt content. I was not seeing good results, and the ph of the soil was not going toward the neutral  side rather the other way on the scale. Then I realize that you are referring to the oceans, bays, and salt lakes. which makes perfect sense.  Since the salt content in the oceans has  30-50 ppt(part per thousand) and the beneficial Marine microorganisms that thrive in the ocean water. For about a year I was using pond water with not sp profound  results, then I realize you are referring to the oceans, bays, and salt lakes. In America the word ocean refers to a water by the beach, there are some lakes that are salty in Utah as well with 30-50 ppt. Bays are considered coastal body of water that connects lakes, oceans, and other bays. I Think that term is more used in England but not so much in Americas.

well, what about the brackish water does it not have "various microorganisms." or is it just the saline water? Can brackish water be a replacement for saline water with Jadam methods.

Imran- in the US, sea water means saltwater from the ocean. I don’t know anyone in the US who would be confused by the term “sea water”. The book says you can use rock salt instead, which is what I do since I am not near the sea. (The minerals are the same)

Seawater refers to water from the sea or ocean. It is also called sea water. On average, the salinity of seawater around the world is about 3.5%.

Although the overall salinity of seawater is between 3.1% (based on 100ml) and 3.8%, this does not mean that the salinity of seawater around the world is uniform. Where it mixes with fresh water from river mouths or near melting glaciers, seawater can be substantially salinized.

I will refer to your explanation and supplement it when the next book is published. Thank you for your comments.
