Soybean aphid nymph
The body length of winged one is 1.6 mm that it is quite small. Its head is black and its eyes are red. The color of its body is yellow. The length of its cornicle is 0.24 mm that it is shorter than feelers' terminals. Its cornicle is cylindrical and black.

Soybean aphids appear 10 to 15 times a year. They stay over summer on leguminous plants and stay over the coldest season on a root of oriental chaff flower. Their hybernating eggs hatch out and become stem mother. They start to appear in the patch of beans in late June. During the middle of July, you can find a lot of soybean aphid. After July, the population slowly decreases.
