There are two colors of non-winged green peach aphid; green and red. You can see red one often during cold season. The cornicle of non-winged aphid is black and the central part of it is little bit flat. The winged green peach aphid is brown and its the 3rd joint of feelers has 0 to 15 shape sensors. There are black line and dots each joint on its belly. The center of its cronicle is flat.

Green peach aphid stays over the coldest season as eggs. In warm region, the aphid stays over the coldest season as non-winged female aphid. It breeds on buds or behind of young leaves of peach, plum, apple, roses, and fruit trees. When it grows up, it moves to tomato, Chinese cabbage and white radish.

The wintering female green peach aphid starts to multiply from middle of March. From April to May, the aphid becomes adult every week. Therefore, the population of it is increasing rapidly. During hot summer, the population decrease due to high temperature but it starts to appear and multiply from early September. Total, 30 generations of green peach aphid appears every year. Generally, The aphid appears when the weather is hot and dry; during winter with sunny weather and summer. Forcing and semi-forcing cultures have the best environment for green peach aphids.
