I found great results applying JMS on cactus and succulent soil. They actually start to grow quit well I was a little surprise. Then I realized that JMS is an alkaline solution that is raising the level of ph of the soil. The salinity in JMS is raising the ph on the scale closer or higher then 7 making it ver alkaline, also the Saprotrophic Fungi extraction from leaf mold dies off from the salt this making it a high bacterial solution. The potato starch is fermenting the solution to a very high “bacteria soup”. Which is then diluted to break its strength, it is still alkaline and from my understanding all this I gather this solution can not be applied on everything. Then you are recommending to add diluted ocean water on top of that, which also a very high salt content. Well at those high level of salt in soil it is a perfect environment for cactus and succulent.
