Making 20 L in a29 gallon container. Used rainwater. My potassium hydroxide got hard in an open container so I crushed it up and added to the water. After adding oil mixed for 20 minutes.color and viscosity never changed. Could the potassium hydroxide that absorbed moisture from the air and got hard be my problem. Should I make it in a smaller container? Thanks
Working in containers that are too large can quickly cool the generated heat and cause manufacturing failure. Put the oil you are currently making into a small container and try drilling for a longer period of time. There's a good chance it could be.
