I was thinking that a good idea might be to make a very good JFL would be using fish waster (source of nitrogen), pineapple skins (source of potassium). It seems to me that the fertilizer would be very good.
I was curious however if I could add agricultural lime too (calcium carbonate). This way the fertilizer would be a complete fertilizer with calcium as well.
I don't know however if the calcium carbonate would affect the fertilizer.
What do you recommend?
It is possible, but since calcium carbonate is almost insoluble in water, I think it is better to use it after 3 months or more. It will be degraded slowly by microorganisms in the JLF. You will need to stir occasionally as sedimentation will occur in the water.
