Which type of water are you referring to as far as, Ocean, Lake, swamp, river, or pond water? The reason I asked this is because I was using water from ponds and lakes, which had a low salt content. I was not seeing good results, and the ph of the soil was not going toward the neutral side rather the other way on the scale. Then I realize that you are referring to the oceans, bays, and salt lakes. which makes perfect sense. Since the salt content in the oceans has 30-50 ppt(part per thousand) and the beneficial Marine microorganisms that thrive in the ocean water. For about a year I was using pond water with not sp profound results, then I realize you are referring to the oceans, bays, and salt lakes. In America the word ocean refers to a water by the beach, there are some lakes that are salty in Utah as well with 30-50 ppt. Bays are considered coastal body of water that connects lakes, oceans, and other bays. I Think that term is more used in England but not so much in Americas. |
